Gary 'Mani' Mounfield is the legendary bassist of pioneering bands, The Stone Roses and Primal Scream.
Mani played on The Roses' seminal debut LP, which has been heralded by many as the greatest album of its generation.
This record was followed up by iconic gigs at Blackpool's Empress Ballroom, Alexandra Palace, Spike Island, and Glasgow Green before the band disappeared for over four years.
When they returned, it was with the triumphant 'Second Coming', but the album was to be the band's last. They split in 1996 leading to Mani joining Primal Scream in what he described at the time as being, "the best Bosman transfer of the year."
Mani was with the Scream from 'Vanishing Point' until 'Beautiful Future' and formed part of what many believe to be the band's finest live lineup around the time of the XTRTMNTR album.
The unlikeliest of reformations took place in 2011, however, when The Stone Roses announced their 'Third Coming', which spelled the end of Mani's time with Primal Scream.
Mani is joining us in one of his favourite cities - Glasgow - for an intimate show that will cover The Stone Roses, Madchester, Primal Scream, football, fashion and culture.
There are guaranteed to be laughs and insights from Mani before he plays out the night with an exclusive DJ set.
Mani loves Glasgow & Glasgow loves him back. Tickets for this evening are sure to be highly sought-after so be quick to secure your seat at his ONLY Scottish date of 2025.
