Suicide has affected so many of us, but is often difficult to talk about. As It Is will open up a perplexing subject in an accessible way.
The afternoon, hosted by cultural broadcaster Janice Forsyth, opens a conversation with our speakers. People with lived experience, academics, reflective practitioners and artists, will join together to explore creative insights in a safe, inclusive and compassionate space.
Our aim is to see suicide ‘as it is,’ to connect the personal to the civic in a way which may go beyond words, to reach communities through a thoughtful and inclusive process.
This event will appeal to a broad range of individuals and partner organisations. We need your help - please come and join the conversation and help us to shape this creative project sensitively from the start.
