Two separate concerts presented by compère Gordon McKinlay each highlighting the fabulous vocal talents of local choirs and choral groups of Ayrshire – a wide variety of song in a broad range of styles and arrangements from a mix of different choirs and choral groups performing each night. All proceeds from the two performances will go to The Gaiety.

I have performed at The Gaiety Theatre for over 40 years with various local amateur companies including Ayr Fort Players and Ayr Amateur Opera Company. I am an honorary member of Ayr Amateur Company and have recently received a 40 Year NODA award. I am a regular speaker on the Burns Supper circuit.
Chrysalis are a local adult dance troupe choreographed by professional dancer & Zumba instructor Fiona Young. Our talented members have performed at numerous charity events including previous fundraising showcases for The Gaiety Theatre and are delighted to be returning!
NEW ROAD YOUNG VOICES
New Road Young Voices are a small group of children aged 4+ from New Road Academy of Dance. We work on singing, dancing and acting every Monday night. We perform a varied musical theatre playlist.
Annbank Primary Choral group is comprised of a group of senior pupils from Primary 7 who share a love of singing and performing. They performed in our very successful School Summer Showcase last year, which included songs from Les Miserables and The Greatest Showman. At Annbank Primary, we have a love for Expressive Arts, and live performance, which is why we are happy to support our local theatre in this showcase tonight. We are incredibly appreciative of the opportunity we have been given to perform from the famous Gaiety stage, and our children have shown dedication and work hard work preparing a small selection of songs for you tonight, which we hope you will enjoy.
MAYBOLE CONCERT PARTY
Maybole Concert Party has been in existence for over 25 years. We are a mixed group who perform themed medleys, solos, duets, dances, comedy sketches and poems, to a variety of audiences. We have performed at fundraising and charity events throughout Ayrshire and beyond.
Celtic Voices are an exciting Scottish cultural initiative for our young people Primary 4 upwards led by Davie Hunter MBE. The group are based in Girvan and meet for rehearsals once a week. They sing Scots and folk songs and also put their own twist on some great classics at many community events, senior citizen groups and homes, festivals and have even recently been on tour in Arran! We perform throughout the whole year and at present are recording a CD in preparation for our Social Isolation and Dementia workshops which will be launched early 2019.
WELLINGTON SCHOOL JUNIOR CHOIR
Wellington School Junior Choir is made up of pupils from Primary 7 to Senior 2. Throughout the year the choir perform at various events in school and the wider community including Christmas, Easter and Summer Concerts and also Church services. They also compete each year in the Ayrshire Music Festival and perform at a variety of charity events. Tonight the choir will be led by Miss Nicola McKinlay and Mrs Wendy-Anne Wilson and will be singing ‘Titanium’ by David Guetta and ‘African Alleluia’ by Jay Althouse.
Our choir was formed two years ago to give Kirkoswald community an opportunity to meet together and make a joyful sound. Our community has now grown and we have members from Girvan, Kirkoswald, Maidens, Dunure, Kirkmichael and Ayr. We meet for an hour fortnightly and have performed at various events throughout the year. We share fun, fellowship a great deal of laughter and most importantly our passion for singing. We hope you enjoy our programme tonight as much as we have enjoyed rehearsing for this concert
