BBC Music presents The Biggest Weekend - the BBC’s biggest ever celebration of live music! The countdown is on as BBC Radio 2 and Radio 3 join forces to bring two days of spectacular performances to Scone Palace, Perth. Tickets are still available to buy and priced only £18 (plus booking fee).
On Friday 25th May, there will be performances on the main stage from Nigel Kennedy, Danielle De Niese, Evelyn Glennie, Eddi Reader and Band, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Celebrating Andrew Lloyd Webber with Mica Paris and Michael Xavier, Karine Polwart Trio, Jamie Cullum, Scottish National Jazz Orchestra directed by Tommy Smith and Pipes and Drums of the Black Watch, Scotland. Plus Breabach, Mezcla, Namvula, Sistema Scotland and BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra.
On Saturday 26th May on the main stage, there will be performances from Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Simple Minds, Emeli Sandé, Squeeze, The Shires, Amy Macdonald, The Beat starring Dave Wakeling and Julie Fowlis. Plus Rae Morris, Callum Beattie, Blue Rose Code, Andy Brown, Hannah Grace, ONR, Emma McGrath and Vistas.

The Biggest Weekend is taking place in four sites in four nations across four days on the late May Bank Holiday Weekend (25-28 May). There will be performances from the biggest and best-loved names in music celebrating the incredible breadth and diversity of live music on the BBC. The huge musical extravaganza will also be broadcast on BBC TV, radio and online.
