This workshop stands alone or can be a follow on from the morning’s Come&Try workshop with Treacherous Orchestra’s John Somerville helping you discover your talent on the box. With John’s style and patience, you’ll come away being able to play something without a doubt. Accordions are provided for all participants, numbers are limited.
This event will take place in the City of Music Studio in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.
Suitable for adults and children over 12, unless otherwise stated.
The Celtic Connections programme of workshops is designed to inspire people of all ability levels to get involved in traditional music. Please book early to avoid disappointment, as numbers are limited.
The rough guide to ability levels:
Come&Try: if you have always wanted to have a go but have never had the chance or the confidence. Instruments will be provided.
Beginners: those who have just started learning an instrument and who know the basics.
Improvers/Players: if you have been playing for over a year and are ready for the next level. Please bring your instrument with you.
