Aerial Hoop, also called Lyra or cerceau combines grace and coordination with dynamic acrobatics. The hoop is an art which is often seen using complementary skills from static and swinging trapeze.
In Aerial hoop we work on improving strength and fitness while learning good hoop technique and moves that act as a basis for more advanced moves and transitions. Once students have mastered the basic techniques, we move on to learning to transition between moves with grace and ease while gaining strength and control. The more adventurous students can work on the use of spin within routines once they are confident with the basics.
Ages 16+. Beginners level.
