Learn tunes by James Hogg, William Marshall and James Scott Skinner at this fiddle workshop – part of a series exploring Scottish fiddle playing and storytelling.
For Scotland’s Year of Stories 2022, St Cecilia's Hall is pleased to host a series of events focussing on traditional Scottish fiddle playing and storytelling.
Take part in this fiddle music workshop with Marie Fielding, being held in Scotland's oldest concert hall. Marie will present a variety of fiddle tunes played on instruments owned by James Hogg, William Marshall and James Scott Skinner from the St Cecilia's Hall collection.
This is a participatory workshop and attendees are welcome to bring along their own instrument. All experience levels are welcome. Non-fiddlers are most welcome as well!
