Alasdair Gray and Siobhan Healy are exhibiting artworks in a range of media, including prints, oil painting, glass and ceramic. The works ask the viewer to consider the importance of urban biodiversity and have been inspired by the recent planting of the wildflower meadow in Pollok Park, which encourages the development of urban wildlife corridors. The wildflower meadow project is headed by Butterfly Conservation.
This intimate exhibition in the Print Room of Pollok House highlights the work that is going on outside, in the wildlife meadow, to provide suitable environments for wildlife to thrive in the city. The exhibition runs from Tuesday 17 July until Sunday 30 September 2018.
