Join us for an evening of traditional Scottish celebration, with fine dining, whisky and entertainment. Our annual traditional Burns Supper is one of our favourite and most popular fundraising events bringing together our diverse College community for an evening of exquisite food, friendship and fun.
This event is in support of the Hope Foundation. All proceeds raised will go towards supporting the Foundation as it encourages innovation and shared learning which can lead to huge difference in the provision of healthcare, especially when enacted with compassion. During the evening, there will be raffles and prizes.
Burns Night is an annual celebration of Scotland’s most famous poet Robert Burns. He produced hundreds of poems, songs and letters. He wrote more than 550 poems and songs before his death in 1796. Today he is honoured with the title ‘Scotland’s national poet’. Burns Night itself marks the anniversary of Robert Burns’ birth on 25 January 1759 and the traditional Burns supper is an evening event that celebrates his life and work.
The Burns Supper will take place in the College Hall, an atmospheric portrait lined room dating from 1893, designed by the renowned Scottish architect Sir J J Burnet (1857-1938). We cater for a wide variety of dietary requirements, please see our booking process for more details.
