The main theme of this year's exhibition is 'Island Jewels of the Forth', with a four-day exhibition taking place in June on the theme: 'Reach for the Stars: The Life and Times of Mary Somerville'.
Burntisland Heritage Civic Week Exhibition: "Reach for the Stars: The Life and Times of Mary Somerville". Mary Somerville was the queen of 19th century science and her permanent childhood home was in Burntisland. Please note that this exhibition runs for only four days, during Burntisland Civic Week.
Burntisland Heritage Trust Summer Exhibition: "Island Jewels of the Forth" - an island hopping tour which shines a spotlight on the now mainly deserted islands of the outer Firth of Forth from the Bass Rock at the mouth of the Forth westwards to the iconic Forth Bridges. The exhibition examines their character and rich natural heritage, and tells a few tales that deserve to be better known.
