CamGlen Radio Presents a mix of electropop, jazz and folk music at Number 18, Rutherglen with Carla J Easton and Annie Booth co-headlining the event on Friday 6 September.
Glasgow based, Carla J Easton is described as the unbeatable princess of DIY pop who throws in a bit of post-punk at the same time.
Carla does not only sing, but has written songs for BMX Bandits, collaborated with The Scottish Opera for BBC Arts and has joined legendary Scottish band The Vaselines on stage.
Co-headlining will be Annie Booth – another Edinburgh based singer, songwriter and instrumentalist – but fiercely unique in her own way with an emotive voice in the Scottish music scene.
Annie has performed at the BBC’s much-loved Quay Sessions, as well as appearing at a number of festivals including XpoNorth, Celtic Connections, Tenement Trail and Kelburn's Garden Party (The Skinny Stage).
Supporting act Nicol & Elliott will also be taking to the stage – a musical collaboration of chance, Nicol & Elliott formed as a result of Andrew (Nicol - Guitar and vocals) asking Rachel (Elliott - Fiddle and vocals) to accompany him for a one-off show at Celtic Connection in January 2018.
Tickets are available on Eventbrite for £8 plus booking fee. There will be a limited number available on the night for £10. Doors open at 7.30pm.
This event is strictly 18+ and there will be a licenced bar selling alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages.
