We are now in the sixth year of developing our two acre garden with walks through mature woodland and young woodland which are planted with shade loving plants, rhododendrons, hydrangeas and spring flowering bulbs. Large lawns bordered by extensive herbaceous borders. Ongoing work to develop the garden around the ruins of an 18th century farmhouse continues. There is a wildlife pond with adjacent bog garden. A small orchard and an organic soft fruit and vegetable garden together with a greenhouse and large polytunnel.
This is a fundraising event for the open garden charity Scotland’s Gardens Scheme which raises money for hundreds of local charities.
