Charity Garden Opening - Haugh Garden
Within our two acre garden, we have created four different areas. The mature woodland, with informal pond and 18th century farmhouse ruin, is filled with birdsong, insects and wildlife. Walks meander through early flowering snowdrops followed by hellebores, tulips and narcissi. Extensive herbaceous borders enclosing the lawns and orchard display vibrant colours. Various paths wind their way through young pine and birch woodland underplanted with shrubs and meadow areas. Lastly, our organic vegetable beds, soft fruit and polytunnel keep us almost self-sufficient all year round.
This is a fundraising event for the open garden charity Scotland’s Gardens Scheme which raises money for hundreds of local charities.
