Our gardens are tended by enthusiastic gardeners some of whom are old hands and some recent converts to gardening. The gardens exhibit a wonderful variety of size, layout and planting ensuring something for every visitor to enjoy. One of the smaller gardens is modern and shows what can be achieved with attractive and innovative hard landscaping. This contrasts with a fabulous lush garden including a water feature — small can be beautiful! Larger gardens include new and mature trees and herbaceous planting ranging from self-seeding cottage style to more formal. There are veggie plots and potagers, containers of all sorts, alpine beds and ponds. Outbuildings range from working greenhouses to summer houses and gazebos. A new addition this year is professionally designed and though aimed at attracting wildlife, is anything but wild with a large modern sway of varied grasses. Lots to see so please join us!
This is a fundraising event for the open garden charity Scotland’s Gardens Scheme which raises money for hundreds of local charities.
