An informal garden within an arboriculturalist's haven. The open lawns allow visual space to appreciate the splendour of mature trees. In particular, giants of the American Pacific coast; majestic specimens of wellingtonia and Douglas fir and many hardwoods. A magnificent array of rhododendrons, azaleas, bamboos and much more. A developing collection of herbaceous and a comprehensive display of bulbs feature throughout the garden. Visitors will wander through a variety of settings, ranging from the informal woodland dell leading to a tranquil burn, to the more formal around the house.
This is a fundraising event for the open garden charity Scotland’s Gardens Scheme which raises money for hundreds of local charities.
