Our prime aim has been to make a garden which appeals to the senses: roses selected for their scent, planting generally to please the eye. The kitchen garden with polytunnel creates self-sufficiency and the pond adds interest. Sustainability, wildlife and recycling are priorities. The garden has views over the surrounding countryside. A winter garden is our next project.
Over half of the gardens are taking part to support open garden charity Scotland’s Gardens Scheme which raises money for hundreds of local charities.
