We use sculpted hedges to play with perspective. There is an ice house, vegetable garden, a mound, orchard and two large polytunnels where we grow vegetables biodynamically. We are establishing a nursery where plants attractive to invertebrates are grown. We plant particularly for wildlife so wildflowers and beneficial weeds are encouraged. New beds planted in 2017 along with significant additional planting in the orchard. Champion Trees: Yew
Over half of the gardens are taking part to support open garden charity Scotland’s Gardens Scheme which raises money for hundreds of local charities.
