Open for two weekends in the spring, it has an extensive collection of daffodils, narcissi and other early flowering plants. The wildlife garden offers mown paths through grassed areas, there is a putting green, summerhouse, apiary and pond. Interesting shrubs and small trees, attractive for their flowers, are complemented by herbaceous plantings. Recently, attention has been paid to reducing windbreaks, redesigning borders and developing small alpine beds. The garden is also offered as a backdrop for small groups to take photographs for family birthdays or celebrations. Please contact the owners to arrange in advance.
This is a fundraising event for the open garden charity Scotland’s Gardens Scheme which raises money for hundreds of local charities.
