Come and see this lovely collection of gardens scattered across Brechin. 9, Pearse Street DD9 6JR (Irene and James Mackie): A recently redesigned garden with an interesting and colourful herbaceous border, huge collection of ferns and lovely rural feel. 24 North Latch Road DD9 6LE (Alistair and Mary Gray): Expertly grown competitive vegetables along with a spectacular display of colourful bedding full greenhouses. 30 Drumachlie Park DD9 7BU (Dave and Pam Henderson): Roses and monardas flourish amidst a garden also featuring bedding plants, greenhouse and patio and all inspired by the memory of Dave's mum. Airlie House 20 Airlie Street, DD9 6JP (Laura Croll): A fantasy garden and summerhouse themed for summer in an enchanted forest. Golf View DD9 7QU (Kathleen Stephen ): Plants, mostly in containers, provide wonderful colour contrasting with this green and peaceful garden, also featuring a pond and white stemmed birches. East Kintrockat DD9 6RP (Colin and Moira Sandeman): A large open country garden with island beds, natural pond, kitchen garden and riverside walk. Lower Duncraig 2, Castle Street, DD9 6JN (Jan Oag): A small town garden recently redesigned with plants selected mainly for their value to wildlife and including a small pond, a few trees and twenty different roses. Pearse Croft 8-10 Pearse Street DD9 6JR (Dr. Hamish and Gail Greig): A classic Scottish town garden reflecting mature box hedges and shrubs, fruit trees, roses underplanted with herbaceous and bulbs and a wildlife haven for birds and bees. Brechin Community Garden Montrose Street DD9 7EF: Started in 2015 on an abandoned allotment site, this community scheme shares experience and learning skills involved in gardening for their own use and for local people.
