Go through the gate and you will find a garden the aim of which is to grow as many different edibles as possible, herbs, fruit arches, vegetable beds and edible hedging. As the overgrowth was removed more and more beautiful surprises emerged. The garden is now a lovely calm sanctuary, artistically planted with a wide range of herbaceous perennials surrounded by beautiful trees.
Over half of the gardens are taking part to support open garden charity Scotland’s Gardens Scheme which raises money for hundreds of local charities.
