The solidity and graphic quality of clipped foliage act as a foil for the many perennials, grasses, annuals, fruit and vegetables. A spiral path leads through an acre of white birches. There is also a variety of ponds and fine sculptures spread around 14 acres of policies. Whitburgh garden has featured recently in Gardens Illustrated and other publications.
Over half of the gardens are taking part to support open garden charity Scotland’s Gardens Scheme which raises money for hundreds of local charities.
