2022 saw our third Scotland event take place in Edinburgh, as Scotland Comic Con knocked it out of the park at a show that saw tens of thousands of comic book fans and film culture fans meeting celebrity guests in the form of the one and only Obi-Wan Kenobi himself, Mr Ewan McGregor! Joining him were Star Wars legends Anthony Daniels, Jimmy Vee, Angus MacInnes and Denis Lawson. Other awesome guests included Vampire Diaries and Originals stars Candice King, Daniel Gillies, Michael Malarkey, Kayla Ewell, and David Anders, we also brought you Fantastic Beasts star Dan Fogler, Hollywood legends Alicia Silverstone, and Billy Zane, The Walking Dead star Ross Marquand, Buffy the Vampire star James Marsters, and Scream actor Roger L. Jackson! The Hobbit's Graham McTavish was joined by Lord of the Rings star John Rhys Davies, The NeverEnding Story stars Noah Hathaway and Tami Stronach, Wrestling legend Rob Van Dam, and Back to the Future stars James Tolkan and Claudia Wells also appeared. Also joining us, we had Transformers voice acting legends Peter Cullen and Frank Welker, Matilda star Mara Wilson, Little Mermaid voice actor Jodi Benson, Still Game stars Paul Riley, Jane McCarry, Gavin Mitchell, and Sanjeev Kohli, along with Red Dead Redemption voice actors Rob Weithoff, Roger Clark, Benjamin Byron Davis, and Alex McKenna, The Witcher voice actor Doug Cockle, Gears of War voice actor Carlos Ferro, and Anime voice actors J. Michael Tatum, Ricco Fajardo, Brandon McInnes, Arryn Zech, and Jamie Marchi, UK Gladiator legend Diane "Jet" Youdale, and finally, we were delighted to host the one, the only, the sax machine himself, Mr. Tim Cappello! It really was an event to remember for years to come!
Also available for visitors to enjoy were a plethora of cosplayers and our mega cosplay competition, a video gaming arena, loads of props and sets including our Back to the Future display, Cobra Kai displays, Harry Potter and Game of Thrones displays, Tardis, artists and authors section, a huge traders area and LOADS more!
