Jess Elliott Dennison is a food writer and the founder of Elliott’s. Her cookbook _Midweek Recipes_ was a runaway success, becoming our bestselling cookbook of 2024 (and potentially even all time!) and was one of the _Spectator's_ best books of the year.
Previously Jess was part of Jamie Oliver’s team, and ran Elliott’s Cafe for five years. Elliott's was listed on _Conde Nast’s_ Best Edinburgh Restaurant List.
Jess’s cooking has been featured in_ VOGUE, Stylist, The World of Interiors, Monocle, The Guardian, The Scotsman, TOAST_ and _The Independent,_ and other publications.

With chapters of Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Baking, Dinner and Pudding, these are the flavours and methods for when there’s slightly more time for connecting with your ingredients, kitchen and company.
Including everything from sherbet-y lemon curd for spreading over toast in the morning, to sweet roast pepper, charred silverskin onion and parmesan crostini for mid-day, to spaghetti and oregano meatballs followed by blackcurrant pavlova with lemon and bay custard for the evening.
