Sunday 6 September, 2.30pm – 4pm
It’s the year 1923. Mrs Reid, now a widow, lives a secluded life with her housekeeper Mrs Mackay. Her steward and friend, John Fairley, who is proposing to write a book about the history of Lauriston, joins them to reflect on the many interesting people connected with the house and estate.
Each performance is carefully devised by Edinburgh Living History to be as historically accurate as possible and include a touch of drama and a soupcon of humour. You will walk through the Castle on a special tour watching the performance unfold.
Adult £10, Concession and children £6 (under 5 free), includes tea and cake
