2018 will be the fourth annual Snowdrop Festival in the small Perthshire town of Coupar Angus. Our Festival features walks around the town past some really beautiful beds of snowdrops. As well as the walks, 2018 will also feature: Friday 16th February - local, Pride of Place, Ceilidh Thursday 22nd February - Annual Snowdrop Lecture - ‘Snowdrops and the Winter Garden - don't put your garden to bed for the winter’. Lady Catherine Erskine from Cambo, Fife Friday 23rd February - Snowdrop Bingo to raise funds for the local Primary School Saturday 24th February - Church Spring Snowdrop Fair Saturday 24th February (evening) - Dundee band ‘Journey North’ in the Red House Saturday 24th/ Sunday 25th - local craft worker demonstrations in the High Street Store and Snowdrop Cafe in the ‘Y’ Friday 2nd March February - ‘Snowdrop Swing Evening’ in the Town Hall - dancing and music Sunday 4th March - Annual Snowdrop Cycle starting at The Cross at 10.00 Other events/ activities include window displays, an art show at the Heritage Centre and knitted snowdrops. As ever we may add further events between now and the end of February so please keep an eye on the website where they will be featured.
