Live borders arts & creativity present 'Covenant' from Tatty Pants Theatre Company.
Something's wrong with Becca. Like really wrong. She's left with little choice over what to do. With last night’s house party raging outside the door, Georgia and Faye must decide how to care for their friend and how much they’re willing to lose. _24Weeks _is an original work by Laura Walker following three women in their house party, as they consider the legality, morality and consequences of criminalised choice – leaving them with no option but to make villains of themselves and those they love.

We earned our stripes at the University of St Andrews, producing sell-out runs at the Byre Theatre of Hollie McNish’s ‘Antigone’ and ‘Braided’ (a company original). We were awarded three prizes at a competition hosted by Australian production company Diversion Creative, leading us to work on Bijli’s tour of ‘One Mississippi’. We went on to review theatre for Fringebiscuit, SNACK, and recently, Binge Fringe. Currently, producer Alex is pursuing her PhD in St Andrews, director Issy is a Drama Assistant at a school in Suffolk, and writer Laura works in TV in Glasgow. TPTC is looking forward to producing yet another political “theatrical gem” (The List) that fuels controversy amongst our audiences, and encourages them to confront difficult questions.
In 2023, we made our Edinburgh Fringe Festival debut with ‘WITCHES’ (★★★★★ The Student). In 2024, we brought ‘COVENANT’ (★★★★★ The Student, London Theatre Doc) to the Fringe Festival as a Work in Progress show, receiving praise from audiences and critics alike. We are preparing to bring our next production to a bigger stage, with a bigger team. We endeavour to keep working with other early-career creatives, offering up as many opportunities to others as possible.
