'Daisy Pulls It Off' is a hilarious parody of wholesome adventure stories about life in a 1920s girls' boarding school, such as those by Angela Brazil. The original production opened to critical acclaim in 1983 and ran for 1180 performances in the West End. Daisy Meredith, the new girl, is the first scholarship pupil to attend the Grangewood School for Girls. The privileged students are determined to make Daisy look bad in the eyes of the headmistress who is facing financial problems running the school. Daisy wins over her schoolfellows and saves Grangewood when she cracks a secret code, finds a treasure and saves the life of her arch-enemy - all on the same night! Rollicking good fun for all the family.
