Scottish Jazz Award nominees, Nimbus Sextet, remain one of the most innovative groups in the new wave of UK jazz. The band are on tour with the promotional campaign for their critically acclaimed second album, FORWARD THINKER, released on Acid Jazz Records.
Performing in the UK and Europe’s top jazz venues, the Joe Nichols-led outfit have firmly established themselves as an increasingly major voice in the vibrant European jazz scene. The group began the year with a rapturously received debut performance at the legendary Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club. They launched their album at the celebrated New Morning in Paris, appearances at Glasgow Jazz Festival, Edinburgh Festival Fringe and Lancaster Jazz Festival further established the group as dynamite live performers.
