Davie Anderson's set-lists are eclectic. Some of his own songs and a load from the folk who influenced him. When he was wee there was an old piano in the music-filled family home. His mother played and sang the songs and tunes of Caledonia that lit the flame that still inspires Davie to this day. He's been playing the guitar since he was 13, sometimes solo sometimes in a band. (There's a story behind the name of one of his projects. Ask him when you come to the concert!) Davie has taken his music to the USA, Germany, Ireland and Northern Spain.
He's recorded a fair amount of music over the years, influenced by the likes of Big Country, Buddy Holly and Robert Burns. He has a new album called Love So Strong which features no less than 7 original compositions. He mixes Folk, Americana, Rockabilly & Blues on acoustic, electric guitar, Bass and E-bow.
