This special workshop has been put together specially by Muldoon's Picnic who have been running celebrated workshops at the Song School for many years. The five-part harmony group who sing unaccompanied songs from a wide range of folk traditions will share songs of life in easy to remember, supported harmonies, with songs of waking, working and walking to accompany your day.
This event will take place in the Clyde Foyer of the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.
All songs will be taught by ear, no need to read music. Sunday 5th will finish with a big sing for all participants after the last workshop, between 3.30-4pm, in the Green Room, then a mass group sing on the main staircase. Workshops £10 each.
Suitable for adults and children over 12, unless otherwise stated.
The Celtic Connections programme of workshops is designed to inspire people of all ability levels to get involved in traditional music. Please book early to avoid disappointment, as numbers are limited.
