Inspired by the National Gallery’s display of Impressionism and Post Impressionism, soprano and piano duo, Voice and Verse will perform beautiful late impressionist music by Debussy and Duparc. The performance will also pay homage to the 200th anniversary of Queen Victoria's birth in May, with musical settings of her private letters, as well as music by her favourite composer, Schubert.
This performance is open to all and particularly suitable for those with dementia and their families, supporters and carers.
In order to protect our vulnerable works of art from any kind of accidental damage we kindly ask all visitors to either carry their rucksack/backpack by hand or place it in a locker.
Located in the city centre on Queen Street, the Scottish National Portrait Gallery is easy to access.
