Using archive material which documents aspects of 1920s Edinburgh, we'll take a tour on a charabanc to look at life in the city. Along the way we'll explore how technology and transport was evolving, how this impacted on the day- to-day lives of Edinburghers; the fashions they followed, challenges they faced and how they sought fun in their leisure time. Jackie Sangster is a Learning Manager at Historic Environment Scotland who works with HES archival records, including Scran.ac.uk and Canmore.
