Choir, brass and organ: a combination that has entertained, inspired and challenged composers, audiences and singers alike for hundreds of years. Join us as we bring together the voices of ERCU, the organ of Greyfriars Kirk and brass players from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland for this evening of celebratory music by John Rutter, Anton Bruckner, Ralph Vaughan Williams and Louis Vierne alongside Sir James MacMillan’s dramatic fanfare, _Tu es Petrus_, written for Pope Benedict’s visit to Westminster Cathedral in 2010.
