An Tobar & Mull Theatre presents
Every Brilliant Thing
by Duncan Macmillan with Jonny Donahoe
Directed by Rebecca Atkinson-Lord
Heart-wrenching, hilarious... possibly one of the the funniest plays you will ever see, full stop
You're seven years old. Mum's in hospital. Dad says she's 'done something stupid'. She finds it hard to be happy.
You make a list of everything that's brilliant about the world. Everything worth living for.
1. Ice cream
2. Water fights
3. Staying up past your bedtime and being allowed to watch TV
4. The colour yellow
5. Things with stripes
7. People falling over
You leave it on her pillow. You know she's read it because she's corrected your spelling.
A hilarious play about depression and the lengths we will go to for those we love.Based on true and untrue stories.
COVID POLICY FOR THIS PERFORMANCE
We look forward to welcoming you, all tickets are on sale and expect to sell a full house. There will be a number of measures in place to reduce risk. So please note the following.
We will not reserve empty seats between household groups as has been the case at previous CatStrand events. There will probably be someone sat in the seats next to you.
As per government guidance, masks are required to be worn inside and throughout the performance, unless you are sat down and eating or drinking or have a medical exemption.
1m distancing should be maintained at all other times.
Our new ventilation system will be installed. This filters the air and will ensure good air-flow.
For everyones reassurance and safety, we politely request that audience members take a lateral flow test prior to attending. These are free and can be done at home or at a testing site. See NHS DG for up to date advice on where to obtain the tests.
Full refunds will be available if cancelling due to a positive test.
