The Feral Choir is known across the region for beautiful and atmospheric concerts that weave songs and words together. MidWinter Turning looks back over the year with a feast of songs and poetry to celebrate and illuminate some outstanding themes, events and anniversaries. Reflective, funny and moving by turns this is a performance not to be missed.Midwinter Turning is produced and conducted by the Feral Choirs musical director Alison Burns. A prolific reader and collector of contemporary poetry, she has drawn on stories, poetry and prose from the local and global writing communities to devise this atmospheric concert. The choir is delighted to have Liz Kettle from Kirkcudbright as this years reader.
