Each year our Festival of Fun has gained an excellent reputation amongst local businesses, media, local authorities and charities who see it as a fantastic opportunity to join together and discover more about each other, businesses, services, people and the wider community.
Last year, the theme was ‘Hero’s and Superhero’s, so this year we have ‘Film and Cartoon’ characters! Not only will there be favourites from the big screen and comic book scene but a huge support from our unsung heroes within the voluntary sector and emergency services who will be running a range of activities throughout.
This year, amongst other celebrity appearances, Kingdom FM Radio will be supporting us on the day and will advertise on the run up to the event with regular radio slots and announcements, so we expect footfall to be even higher than the 2500+ families who joined us last year.
We will also be welcoming celebrity guests to judge and take part in some of our competitions on the day and will be inviting the local media to cover the event, together with promoting it extensively within Sense Scotland and associate organisations networks, online and offline marketing channels.
This is a free, accessible community event that supports our most complex children and adults to integrate and experience a family day out safely alongside mainstream public and all generated income from donations is fully invested back into next years planning.
As you can see, this is an excellent opportunity for you to be involved as we are offering our contributors high visibility amongst a wide audience at a very small charge. Therefore, we are contacting you to ask if you would kindly support the event by submitting a contribution. The type of things we are looking for include: raffle prizes, winning prizes, company activities . . . the bigger the better! We will make sure you receive maximum publicity and recognition on the day.
If you would be interested in chatting to us about this, please do not hesitate to get in touch myself, Bill Wood for more information.
