Create your own festive wreaths using sustainable materials collected from around our Green Skills Centre and surrounding areas.
Take time out from the shopping and stress to join us in our sustainable wreath workshop. We will create a perfect seasonal show stopper for your front door. Using locally foraged materials and dried flowers from our cut flower garden, our horticulturist will guide you through each step in this beginner friendly workshop.
Everything needed to take part in the workshop will be provided to you, if there is a special ornament you’d like to attach to your wreath please bring it along.
It’s a chance to release your creativity while enjoying seasonal treats in a rural setting, including our very own mulled apple juice and mince pies. Please could you inform us of any dietary requirements, relevant allergies or preferences you may have. We will try our best to meet your needs.
About our events
Through booking a place on the class, you directly support the work we do with tackling the causes and consequences of homelessness.
Our Green Skills Centre is an outdoor learning environment for young people currently unsupported by the mainstream education system and traditional career pathways. Through building connections to the natural environment, and encouraging connections to the wider community we offer young people the space to grow, and find their own path forwards.
Location
This event will be taking place at our Green Skills Centre in Kirknewton, a short walk from the Military Museum and Jupiter Artland. Accessible through Lothian Buses via Wilkieston. Parking is available on location.
