In Scotland’s Year of Young People, the Festival will place a spotlight on young people and their families through a programme of activities and events that embraces and celebrates the energy, enthusiasm and talents of young people.
Specially commissioned for the YoYP 2018, the festival will create a piece of theatre around Scottish literary work ‘The Buke of the Howlat’ – developed with Moray’s young people and premiering during the 2018 festival.
The biennial Findhorn Bay Festival is a spectacular six-day celebration of arts and culture taking place at the heart of Moray, the last week of September showcasing artists of national and international renown.
Set in unexpected spaces and scenic locations, the Festival brings a vibrant mix of theatre, performance, music, dance, visual arts, exhibitions, talks, tours, and more as well as Culture Day Forres - a one day cultural extravaganza free for all the family to enjoy.
Following a Co-Design approach, young people are a driving force in shaping, developing and implementing all events for the Year of Young People 2018.
