Formed in 2014, the Fitzroy Quartet has won a prodigious number of
prizes for the quality of their musicianship and they come to Aboyne
as recipients of the prestigious Tunnell Trust award. The Quartet
– Dan-Iulian Drutac (first violin), Jure Smirnov Ostir (second
violin), Emily Pond (viola) and Lydia Hillerudh (cello) - will play at
the Victory Hall, Aboyne, on Saturday 9th July 2022 starting at
7.30pm. They will be playing the following music:-
Haydn - Opus 76 no 2 'Die Quinten'
Mozart - String Quartet no.14 in G Major K387
Mendelssohn Op 44 no 2
