Stand-up comedy is coming to Montrose! We’re bringing in a stellar line-up of pro comedians, including comedy heavyweight Stephen Buchanan, local hero Scott Forbes and killer comedienne Krystal Evans.
Headlining the show is award-winning comedian Stephen Buchanan. In 2018 he was crowned Scottish Comedian of the Year and also became the first ever Scottish comedian to win the coveted BBC New Comedy Award. He has an extensive background writing and performing for TV and Radio, featuring on ITV’s Jonathan Ross’ Comedy Club, BBC Scotland’s The Comedy Underground and BBC Radio 4’s The Now Show to name a few.

Hosting the show is comedy powerhouse and Montrose local Scott Forbes, a two-time Scottish Comedian of the Year finalist and described by the Evening Express as having ‘rapid fire natural delivery’. Gary Meikle said ‘he gets you quick and once he does it’s machine gun laughter all the way.’
Opening the show will be US comedienne Krystal Evans. She has done tour support for Stewart Francis and Tez Ilyas, been on BBC's Breaking the News and Scot Squad, and hosted and headlined shows at The Stand, Monkey Barrel and The Glee Club. Krystal has won the Ten Feet Tall and Frog and Bucket gong shows, and was also Leicester Mercury New Comedian of the Year Award finalist 2019.
