The world-famous Wallace Collection led by John Wallace join with St Andrews students for a programme of contemporary works for brass accompanied by live video projection by Alexander-Horowitz. The programme includes music by Luciano Berio, Philip Glass and Steve Martland, culminating in a performance of John Tavener’s Trisagion. Composed in 1981 and declared ‘unplayable’ by dedicatee Philip Jones, the work was premiered by Wallace in 1985 though seldom performed since.
