Hello, I'm a member of Rotary, which is an international organisation for community volunteers - so, wherever people go in the world, there's likely to be a Rotary club who will welcome visitors. It's a service organisation, and one of the main aims is to make things a little better for people in the local community and beyond. The point of this club is to showcase some charity events - they may be Rotary related or not - and give everyone the chance to join in. Because, let's face it, fundraising should be fun! Some events will be fundraising, others will be more ecological based and there may be some which involve gardening, or abseiling or going out for afternoon tea. Talking of tea, it's always difficult meeting new people, and so why not meet at social enterprise cafes or pubs?
