Here's the final Fuzz Bat show of the year at the lovely Leith depot on the third sat of the month. The show is a lovely Christmas extravaganza featuring a great triple threat of local indie rock/sophisti-skronk ensemble The Chunks, Garage/Surf/Punk quartet The Head Henchmen from Edinburgh/Montreal and Alternative and emotive slacker indie from Quitter of Glasgow. Each act has been asked to perform one Christmas song as part of their sets for this alongside their usual tunes. Best come along to find out which tunes they'll pick.
In reverse order of appearance...
The Chunks: Indie rock/sophisti-skronk ensemble. Fuzzy and skronky sounds do the tango with catchy poppy choruses and weavy grooves.
"Psychedelic breakdowns meet catchy choruses which turn into prog inspired solos. Unique and playful bass guitar is woven with intricate drum beats, and cut through by hard hitting vocals and a myriad of synth textures."

The Head Henchmen: Garage/Surf/Punk quartet showering you in waves of fuzzy sounds which you can indeed ride.
"The self deprecating humour juxtaposed with some excellent musicianship works very well for them. Without a shadow of a doubt they are worthy of your consideration"

Quitter: Alternative and emotive slaker indie flirting between soft, lush and pretty vibes and noisy intense dissonance. In two piece form this time around.
"Performing live with a full band that hangs its hat on soft dynamics one minute, full slacker flow the next."
