We are now entering the second year of Garnock Valley Carves which takes place in the Manse Field Beith from 10am till 5pm on 7th September.
We have a line up of 10 international Chainsaw Carvers who will demonstrate amazing talent as they transform huge logs into beautiful works of art in only a few hours.
As a result of last year's successful event we now have 3 carvings situated prominently in Beith.
This is an event not to be missed and at the end of the day there will be at least 20 carvings which will be auctioned. There will be 10 large pieces which may be lovely benches or other useable items and 10 smaller ones.
If anyone wants to purchase a carving we recommend brining sufficient cash as the carvers aren't able to accept cheques or cards.
There will be dozens of additional craft and interactive stalls and stands where anyone can take part in the various activities, there is a play area for the wee ones and Free face painting.
This is a real spectator event with much going on and to be able to take part in all day.
In order to avoid queuing, quick access tickets can be booked on our web site.
Garnock Valley Pipes and drums and the Garnock Community band will be playing during the lunch break.
Doors open at 10am with lunch from 12 till 1pm.
There will be 2 marquees with lots of stalls for all tastes as well as on the field
Children will be issued with wrist bands and adults will have hand stamps which allows return access all day.
The carvings will be sold by auction at around 4.30pm
Food will be available all day and the adjacent bowling Club will be open for refreshments in the afternoon as required.
If visitors have a portable seat we advise bringing it as we have no seating on the field.
