Not content with one Christmas market Glasgow opens a second in George Square. Shop for handcrafted gifts and enjoy live entertainment and fun fair rides, including a traditional carousel and Big Wheel.

There is nowhere quite like George Square at Christmas time. Enjoy our festive fun fair beneath the traditional twinkling Christmas lights set against the backdrop of the City Chambers. Join us on the open air ice rink, enjoy stunning views of the city from the 100ft plus observation wheel, delight at the traditional Victorian carousel, helter skelter and flying chairs and enjoy Christmas-themed entertainment with singers, dancers and surprise guests on our performance stage every afternoon. There are photo opportunities a plenty at Santa’s snow globe, as well as Santa’s flying balloons and a festive train ride!
