Giffnock Rock Choir
If you have always wanted to join a choir locally, you can!
Your local Newlands choir is run by Glasgow based musician Elaine Williamson. A local community choir first and foremost, we are also part of the national Rock Choir network, which has provided some exceptional performance opportunities. Members of Rock Choir have had the chance to meet and sing in front of many celebrities and public figures, including Will Smith, 'The Fonz' - Henry Winkler and Sir Richard Branson at the UK's top venues including Wembley Stadium!
Just like a gym membership or Zumba Class, your choir session provides an escape from everyday life. Once a week, your time is completely your own, to do nothing but sing your heart out with friends whilst enjoying our trailblazing formula of fun, friendship and feel-good music. Book your FREE trial session with the Newlands Rock Choir and see for yourself!
Here is a quote about our choir - 'I spend many hours every day driving and in meetings. It's often quite a struggle to get to Rock Choir and I often don't really feel like making the effort. Something magic happens when I get there - a combination of the unfailing cheerfulness of our Rock Choir tutor, the physical movement, breathing and singing, the (usually!) lovely sound of the combined voices of the choir - suddenly the stress of the day melts away, energy returns and a feeling of well-being arrives. It's been a difficult year for me - got divorced, my best friend with terminal illness passed away and I survived a tricky restructure at work, Rock Choir has often been the one really positive highlight in my week - thank you!' - Sue (Rock Choir Member)
