BMX races are exciting, fast-paced, relentless and all-action. The races begin with 3 rounds of qualifying heats, called motos which can have up to eight riders competing against each other. The top points scorers across all motos then move on through to further knockout rounds until the final, which decides the overall winner. Individual races normally last under a minute and are run off in quick succession, meaning that it’s an exciting non-stop day for riders and spectators alike.
Thousands of people will be travelling from all corners of the globe to Scotland and to Glasgow during August, when the Glasgow 2018 European Championships takes place as well as Edinburgh’s world famous Festival programme, so it’s a good idea to book early.
