Glasgow’s annual Festival of Remembrance, takes place at Queens Park Church of Scotland on Saturday 07 November 2020. The Festival commemorates all those who have lost their lives in conflicts.
102 years ago the First World War ended, and a new world began. The example and experience of those who lived through it shaped the world we live in today. At the Festival of Remembrance this year, Glasgow leads the nation in saying Thank You to all who served, sacrificed and changed our world.
We will pay tribute to the Victory in Europe; VE Day in its 75th Anniversary and also; D-Day’s 76th Anniversary. We must never forget another notable milestone of the Battle of Britain in its 80th Anniversary.
