Lauren MacColl, crowned winner of the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award 20 years ago, has built a rich and varied career. She co-founded fiddle quartet RANT and song trio Salt House, released five solo albums, and collaborated with numerous artists. Her distinct, darkly-toned fiddle sound now features original compositions alongside traditional music.
