Haddstock will return on Sat 28th + Sun 29th May, bringing Haddington’s venues to life with music and community arts, celebrating local talent in an inclusive environment. 80 artists will perform across 10 venues, providing a platform for young people to play alongside artists such as Dropkick, Tom Fairnie Band, I AM PLUTO, Sir Tom Watton, Burn The Maps and Headliners mylittlebrother, Lizabett Russo and Callum Easter.
The Haddstock-Knox Music Project, a multi group collaboration with ELC Arts Service, Instrumental Music Service and Edinburgh College, will culminate their project with a live performance at St Mary’s Church alongside other school music groups.
East Lothian Play Association and The City of Play will bring us TINKERTOWN, a pop-up event giving children and families the freedom to design, build and play with real tools, pallets and scrap timber. Heavy Sound’s Community Reach & Inclusion Bus (The Crib) is coming to Haddington SkatePark! A creative learning space for rapping, song-writing, DJing and bike maintenance, The Crib offers support for young people and signposts resources.
With Haddington Twinning, you're invited to bring your Petanque/ Boules set, a picnic and ceilidh dancing shoes! There'll be art and environmental events from MADE in EL and Lil, as well as open mic, music quiz, local art, authors, streetbands and much more!
Entry to venues is free and musicians are paid by public donation. Please remember to bring old fashioned cash! Tickets for the headliner gig are available via citizen.ticket.co.uk and Facebook.
